Not bad at all...covered Little Creatures (with their massive hopback) Bug Ocean, Bootleg, the Wig & Pen, and a few others. Very pro-micro & pro-beer tone.
The point was made that there seems to be no point trying to convert wine drinkers with talk of bouquet & varieties, but to get VB drinkers to trade up to better beer.
The guy from the University of Ballarat talked about the need to get a critical mass of qualified brewers to take things to the next, self sustaining level, pity the Uni won't answer my emails about this year's courses!

i have been offline for a couple of weeks but this show was screened late last year and i missed most of it, i sent an email to my pay tv provider asking when it was to replayed. after 4 months of no reply we had pay tv cancelled ( not for this reason) and now i find out i have missed it again aaaghh for #$$% sake,s!!!!!

I was looking at their web site a few weeks ago and it seems they are not offering any new intake this year. No reasons given.

Last episode last night, a bit of a round up/overview with lots of "beer porn" shots :) of foaming glasses, etc.
Franck Berges was interesting, Sydney based beer importer who sells so much Belgian beer their guild made him a member.
The rest was a bit dull, and I must say the oom-pah-pah band has made me less enthusiastic about visiting the Lowenbrau Keller next time I am in Sydney.

Worth watching if it ever gets repeated. Which it probably will knowing Foxtel.

Someone should get in touch with the free to air networks and try and sell them a new Big Brother-type reality show based on home/craft brewing, in which a bunch of brewers are forced to live in a share house getting drunk and arguing about mash times etc until they run out of yeast for their next batch and get voted out via SMS. :(
