Had this in melbourne the other day. Very hoppy n aromtic as you'd expect, and high in the bitterness level. I liked it. Im not good with all the poncy beer review stuff. It was a great beer, and i'd drink it again. Bit more intense than say SN torpedo, but i liked it.

I loved the Racer 5 IPA. One of the many beers I tried when I was on my USA beer tour in 2010. I know there are literally thousands of beers in the US you could try, but here iare just some of the beers I liked when I was doing my beer tour. If you get a chance to try one here - go for it. (Heck, I had something like 90 different beers in the US in nine weeks and stil didn't even scratch the surface. Amazing).

Top Five Beers:

1. Odells Original Gravity Black IPA (Odell Brewing) {Limited batch supply, so not sure if they brew it now}
2. Midnight Sun Sockeye Red IPA (Midnight Sun Brewing)
3. Surly Furious (Surly Brewing)
4. Pliny the Elder (Russian River Brewing)
5. Coffee Bender (Surly Brewing)

Great Beers To Try:

* Boulevard Brewing: Double Wide IPA
* Point 2012 Black Ale

* Granite City Food and Brewery: Broad Axe Stout
* Big Sky Brewing: Moose Drool Brown Ale

Beers To Look Out For:

njoyed pint of Racer 5 at The Scratch a few days ago. Quite good even with the hop-edges a bit rounded off from the boat ride. I have been loving their Red Rocket though.
