Poto4x, that bag of missing Vienna is our split, now Ross has offered to freight it free of charge to me, but that puts it 100km+ from you, so maybe I can get Ross to split it and send each half to the right place, don't know if he'll go for it, but all I can do is ask....

Otherwise I can split it up here and if someone from up this way is going to BABBs then they can pass it on to you then.

Your call, but either way I'll have a chat to Ross tomorrow....

Gavo, there is a missing bag from your order, the Munich I seems to have gone awol, Ross said he'd try to track it down, but I didn't see anyone walk off with an extra bag, so.....

Potof4X, looks like your half of the Vienna split will have to travel from the Sunny Coast to you, we'll sort that out after it arrives at my place I guess. I'll PM you when it does and we can take it from there.

All bags that hadn't been collected when I left at 11.40 had been well labeled with owner and grouped together to make sorting easier when the late comers got there. I know someone had organised to pickup during the week with Ross so that should be sweet, the rest believe would have been picked up by CB closing time anyway.

I'm off to the brewery to get a brew going. Don't know what yet but it will be malty! :icon_drool2:

As detailed above, I grabbed all of the bags that were labelled for gavo, ghhb, potof4x and myself, they're all here in Toowoomba. ghhb, I'll drop yours off in a minute. The CB lads did find the last bag, so Gavo's order is complete.

I had a cunning plan to brew a belgian or saison upon getting home, but we ended up at the International Hotel for lunch and QAing the beer. (OUTRAGE - the price of a pint has gone up to $5!)
After a few nice Irish Reds I went home and had a nanna nap instead.

Cheers for the BB Thomas. Also a big thanks to the craftbrewer team. Left my sack in the ute when I got home and only just took it out, now the ute smells like chocolate. Monday is going to be a double brew day. After I make the Anarchy in the APA i might just try to repeat the mash paddle chocolate brew 13.5% of goodness (Should be a good one for the Chrissy swap)

Dang- it is with ghhb already, he's not on the boards much so I'll give him a cooee. To be honest, I didn't check actual products off against the spreadsheet, nor did we look closely when we unloaded that lot here or at ghhb's. My bad too... Anyway, I'm in Brisbane quite a bit with work, happy to facilitate any swap if need be.

BTW, I discussed the Bairds packaging with Ross, the internal bag liner is substandard IMO and often splits with handling which means the grain isn't enclosed as we would like to think. Be sure to decant into another bag or container pronto is my advice. Mine was busted and I have had a few like this, but there's probably not a great deal that can be done other than feedback to the firm. There's only the three of us with full bags of Bairds lines this time, ghhb, Mattc and myself.

winkle- a couple of us met up in the International a few weeks ago, didn't mind the Irish Red and it was the pick, the Belgian and Pils were pretty ordinary while the wheatie was interesting, but not in a particularly good way and not consistent- mine was almost soupy. Still worthwhile swinging by though, even at that outrageous 5 clams a pint!
