Well done GMK - you're a credit to the fraternity!

I've got mine fitted out with a stainless handle - thought I'd show a pic or two:

And here's a shot of the handle compared to the smaller basic black plastic handle...


The stainless handle weighs a bit so Stagger had to bore it out on the lathe to reduce weight and I reckon he's done a top job. Now all I need is some bloody beer in a keg and I'm in business! B)

He has 10 left and needs them - will have to wait for his next order..

But they will be 95.00 ea...

so - might be cheaper to goto Ventmatic in the states...
They are 30.00Us for the Tap + 10.00 Us for the collar and snaplock male adaptor...plus freight.

well the taps will cost 82.50 ea plus postage to SA...

if u want 3 - then i can do them for 270.00....plus postage to you.

i normally sell the grundy taps for 95.00.

Your call - if u had let me know before the bulk buy closed you would have been alright.

Now - this is a pic showing the difference between the Ventmatic supplied Collar and snaplock male shank on the left and one supplied with grundy taps.

Differences:
- The ventmatic has little teeth to mate onto the ventmatic tap
- The ventmatic has a smaller hole diameter for the beer to pass thru.
- the grundy has a rubber seal and a larger diameter.

Wether this makes a difference or not - i do not know.

Just as interest , I have some Grundy taps I got from another source , not GMK

Anyway they have the little teeth the same as the Ventmatic taps Kenny shows , perhaps this is a US design?

Just out of interest GMK. The pour is faster, but from the design of the tap I'm assuming less foaming. Is this correct ?
You also said in one of the previous posts that the nozzle was the 10mm ones so according to this Vent-matic page the pour velocity is high. That would also explain the fast pour.
Sounds like some re-tuning of the flow restrictors will be in order when I get the taps next week.
