Well one and all, I had a work trip down to Sydney this week just gone, and I dropped Pumpy a line to see if any of the lads down there were keen for a beer or two.
And I was absolutely blown away when ten or so of the Camden crew lobed at Pumpy's for beers on Friday night, thanks heaps for a fantastic night of food and laughter, had an absolute ball.
Anytime any of you are in the Sunshine state you are more than welcome.

Jay

That's enough Jay - I was bloody jealous when I found out you were going to see Hogan, Franko & Pumpy and the rest of the brothers.

You can make amends with pics!!!!!

Seems to be this Brewerhood connection with the Camden brewers, do you think it might be like a "sister brewing city" to the Sunny Coast. Knew you would have a great visit Jay, a top bunch of brewers.

It was great to have you here Jay, you have been backing up well, night after night for the last three days.

The 'MALE' brewers always rock up for one of the brewing brethren, we love an excuse to have a beer & a talk beer .

From dropping you off at the station you seemed back in Queensland in no time .

I am sure Kabooby will be catching up with you soon on his trip to Queensland

Pumpy :)

So sad I missed it :( ... sounded like a good night.

Unfortunately no Yoda impressions, Franko went into hospital on Wednesday to get his back operated on. And I can't help you with the Rochefort return as I was good as gold, but I had to laugh bulp, we had a better selection of imported beers at Pumpy's than I had in the city.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jay. A great Queenslander and Fellow brewer. Superb beers all around and the snacks and BBQ hit the spot.
Thanks to everyone providing and big thanks to Pumpy for another great night of hosting.
:)

I'm so jealous! As InCider said, you can redeem yourselves with pictures.

It was good to meet another brewer Jay.
Next time i'm up that way (family on the sunshine coast) I'll drop you guys a line, at this point we're looking at chrissy time next year.....

I'm sure I can escape the family for a night. :D

Sorry lads can't do, the function was "al' natural" so photographers were not allowed. :D

Only kidding, I didn't have my camera and I don't think anybody else did either. It was definately an after thought for me lads, as I only thought 3 or 4 of the locals would be around. Have learned my lesson for next time.

Nice to meet you Jay, it was a great night. Hope to see you next weekend.

I though Linz aka "The Grand Poobah" would have taken some photos but I guess we were all to busy drinking beer.

I just bottled up some Belgian strong ale, Dunkelweizen, Vienna Lager and Pale Ale for the trip North. I hope it survives the cabin pressure.

BTW my so called Vienna was actually my Pale Ale. Didn't think it tasted right

Just been into see Franko in the Hospital and I asked the nurse where Franko's room was, she said ,"down the corridor and left where you can here the impressions of the Star War character's from" .

Franko was in fine form despite the operation and had the Specialist doctor in 'stitches' excuse the pun with his 'little Chinese lady' impression .

The Morphine was wearing off, there was no beer, well only light beer and could not count that .

Pumpy :)

Good to hear Pumpy...

I think i speak for all the Brewerhood up here when I ask you to please pass on our good wishes & wish Franko a speedy recovery. :icon_chickcheers:

Cheers Ross

Wish Franko a speedy recovery, I still owe him at least one beer.
