Hi Guys,

I'm force carbonating kegs (corny) using the slow and steady method and have bought some additional kegs for a coming party.

I only have room for 2 kegs in my kegerator and was wondering if after carbonation has completed, can I unhook the keg and just store at room temperature?

When party time comes around, chill down to the serving temperature a couple of days prior.

I'm guessing it's just like pulling a giant stubby out of the fridge and putting it back in, but you never know.

Cheers guys!!!

I've got a couple of carbed kegs just sitting under a table waiting their turn. Giant bottles, basically.
However it's important to do a really good sanitize - if you put them straight in the kegerator at serving temperature then any slight infection won't have much chance of getting going, but if kept at ambient theres always a risk.
