Hi guys,

I've worked out I'm not going to be able to hit my target for brewing before Summer and I want to get a bigger fermenter.

Can anyone recommend a cheap place to buy them?

I did a google search but the paid placements obscure any good discounts.
I also tried plasdene - but the order fee plus shipping cut off the price benefit.

I like my local brew shop owner and want to support him but $60.00 for a bare 20L plastic container seemed too much.

Advice much appreciated!

Why not get two 30L ones and ferment the same batch with two different yeasts?

Daves homebrew sells them complete for $40 (30L)

Bunnings water barrels are cheap on mobile and don't know how to paste a link. If you search bunnings fermenters out should work

The thing i hate about bunnings fermenters is they dont have measurements down the side. Which is handy for working out efficiency and keg / bottle volumes.

Grap yourself a fire king 1L jug, fill it and empty it into the water drum and mark 1L. Repeat until you get to the top. Takes a little while, but easy as.

JD.

Condell Park produce have 200l blue drums for $17.....
