Sodasteam Bottle

I replaced my empty sodastream bottle today. When I screwed it into the adapter I noticed the head had an extra piece on it, which you can see in the picture below:



As a reasult, the pin doesn't get depressed in the adapter, as there isn't enough thread to screw in. Is this a different type of cyclinder that I need to take and swap over, or is there a way around it, bearing in mind I'm in the mood for a beer right now <_<

Soory guys, scrap this - Just used some brute force and an extra half turn and all is good :lol:
