Hey everyone. I had a 2 and a half year hiatus from drinking alcohol and brewing which is now over and I am happy to be back making and enjoying beer. My first brew back was a partial mash golden ale which is bottle conditioning at the moment. I sampled a couple last night and besides being over carbonated its quite tasty but still a little green. When I was down in Brisbane over Christmas I picked up 2 fresh wort kits from Craftbrewer. The English bitter and the oatmeal stout. The bitter is in the fermenter now and is happily sitting at 19 degrees with a big head of yeast on top. I'm going to brew them while I get my all grain BIAB system set up and ready to go. Looking forward to enjoying some good beer and being part of the brewing community again. Cheers!

Welcome home Happyrock. I hope the return is a fruitful one. All the best!
