SlamDunkel

Wheat - Dunkelweizen
All Grain
- - - - -

Brewer's Notes

65c mashin, 1hr rest, 75c mashout, no chill, straight to settling cube. Fermented 2 days later with a fresh vile of White Labs Hef IV. Fired within 24hrs, but heat was applied via a heater pad during a cold snap - heater pad accidentally left on for too long-very efficient, temp rose to 28c for aprox 24hrs hence emphatic banana character on nose and a little in the taste, however very refreshing! Beersom likes it so Im happy. Dark chocolate colour, medium bodied, thick creamy light brown head.

Bloody tasty lil dunkel-weizen !!!
Two thumbs UP !!

Thanks! Its been a great turn of season beer for me and I like the fact that its lowish alc' so I can be greedy and have a few after work. Think I will brew it again for Winter but a little higher gravity perhaps...Cheers!
