Hello all

I recently found my plate chiller stored inside the same storage box as a cotainer of sodium metabisulphate. As a consequence to this poor storage, the chiller is covered with copper oxide - which i think is very bad for you. Does any one have any ideas on how to fix this? My thought was to soak the chiller in an iophos solution over night and then rinse well.

Suggestions?

Cheers,

no worries mate, that might be copper sulfate.

you may wash it away just with water. It is nothing to be worried about.

more informations about it you can get at wikipedia.
