Sounds good Kevin. Something to talk about but on the face of it your suggestion, 'perhaps;... a competition based around process' is great, definitely something we could schedule in later in the year.

Here's a little list of things which was used last meeting, which I've slightly modified for next meeting. Feel free to take a geez and add anything you like (and re-upload).
Completely up to the MM crew, but are you guys still wanting myself and Cocko from Full Pint to have a brief chat about what we offer? (didn't see it in the Agenda). Totally cool if another time is preferred.

Fair point. Sorry Spiesy. I think the idea as I originally discussed it was adminstrivia first - we decide on stuff about club structure, etc, and hopefully we get that out of the way in the first 15 mins - and then you give a talk if that's all right with you.

15 mins eh? Sounds optimistic to me, especially on a MM timeline, heh... Would be nice though. :)
Odds on it will take a bit longer - look at how long it took to agree to a name

For sure. Whatever you guys like. I'm cool either way, just need to word Cocko up if we're on this month.

How long do you think your talk will take? If we assume the meeting to be a couple of hours, I reckon we could do it this time?

Also I was told on Friday that something going on at work (an overnight production environment load test) means I need to be in at 6am on Tuesday morning. So I might be fairly knackered on the night of the meeting.

Ok, would it be good to have someone stand in as main speaker, or see how you feel on the night?

Certainly won't be long. We can surmise who we are and what we're about in 5-10mins. Prob allow for 10mins or so for questions.

Well, definitely not going to miss it. I reckon I'll be OK. Once would think nothing of it, but I'm no spring chicken these days.

Should be loads of time at the end, then. Thanks for putting your hand up for this.

Perhaps it was wishful thinking on my part that agenda business could be discussed in a short time, 15 mins or so, though I still think we can get the administrative stuff out of the way in fairly short order.

I think it would be pretty unfair on Spiesy, having organised a talk, to now be told it's not required. If it all goes **** up and discussions about competition details, club structure, etc, goes for three hours, then I'll be happy to cop the blame since I was one of the ones to ask Spiesy in the first place if he'd like to do a presentation.

But like I said, I don't think length of time will be a big problem so much.... no, it'll be getting everyone's attention again for Spiesy's talk once we've covered all the agenda items, had a break to go to the loo and get a few beers, and started talking over the top of one another.

Happy to rain check to next meeting, if that's best? And being that there's some crucial administration topics to be covered - maybe that is best?
Just let me know.

BTW: without scanning back over 6-pages, what time is kick-off tomorrow night?
