Johnno has asked, but the answer was we would have to buy a hundred or more to get a further discount.

GMK,
Beleive me I have tried.

John

Many thanks for the update, the price of $181.00 plus GST is as low as we can get on these units unless we start talking hundreds and the factory may give us a special price.

Kind and best regards

Subject: RE: March Pump bulk buy

Hi Greg
An update for you on the order.
At the moment it looks like we are up to 21 pumps and about half that many brackets. There may be a few more by the time I confirm the final order tomorrow morning.
Is that the absolute best price you can do for us for the order?
Can you do any better?
I will mail you tomorrow morning around this time with the final numbers.
Many thanks.
John

Personally I'm pretty happy with the price.

Probably not the best way to get further discounts. Please excuse my Scottish heritage

OK - I PMed Johnno - and mentioned taht he should ask if they want to Advertise with AHB and contact Dane if they did - they could use a Batz/Gmk Slogan...

"Your not a REAL Brewer until u use a MARCH Pump from Process Pumps!"

Also, mentioned taht he hit them up for some freebies/merchandising ie polo shirt, hat etc and that he makes sure taht he keeps a good few for doing th eleg work and hand a couple others out.

After All - u cant get what u dont ask for - and it is all in the marketing...ASKING!

That was all - hope i have not over stepped the mark/on anyone's toes.

Hi all,

Was wondering how to get involved in your plan to bulk buy March pumps, what is required from me?

I require two.

Regards,

Giles Matthews

As a new member to this site (and a keen future AG'er) I'd also like to say a big cheers :beerbang:  :super: to all involved with this bulk buy.
If ever in the sunny NT there will always be a cold beer on tap at my place (hopefully an AG).

Do you want brackets with them ?

Doc,

Certainly! 2 pumps, 2 brackets.

Orders Closed
Order Summary
Total # March pumps 25
Total # March pump brackets 22

As detailed previously, Johnno will submit the order this morning.
He will get a definite price on the brackets (we already have a definite price on the pump and postage).
You will be contacted over the next few days with Bank A/C details to transfer the cash, and you will need to provide your address you want the pump posted to.

Thanks brewers,
Doc & Johnno

Just got final confirmation from Process Pumps for 25 pumps and 23 brackets.

Final price is
Pump $181 + GST = $199.10
Bracket $18 + GST = $19.80
Postage $15 + GST = $16.50

For Linz and Gulf Brewery who have ordered a bracket only, the cost of postage is still the same. If someone near you is getting the pump it may be a good idea to let me know and get one delivery to split postage costs. I will still need to confirm with them.
I have sent out PM's top all involved.

Oops. Forgot to add that the order is being sent today and while Greg has assured me he will try and do everything he can to get it here as soon as possible, it may still be 3 or 4 weeks.

you guys should consider getting some good quality high temp hoses.
That stuff is damn expensive in short lengths but quite cheap by the roll

Darren. tell me more about these hoses. I know we had a tread on this before, but since you mentioned it, could you elaborate please, like what is the brand name, or material, where to get it and how much does it cost.?

Thanks in anticipation.

I am unsure of the brand/name. It is quite difficult to get food grade hose rated for boiling temps.
I bought mine from MOving Brews a few years ago. I have tried to replace them but can only find hose rated to 60/80 degree C. unless I buy a whole roll (from memory it was $800 for 30 metres). I recall it was actually called
beer hose. I would be suprised if the guys selling the pumps can't get it seeing how the pumps are rated at boiling.
cheers
Darren
