What is it?
I think i may be tasting in a couple of my brews.
The two kit beers ive made so far have this weird bitterness that im sure doesnt come from the hops iv added.
My FWK with added hops taste much better.
Is this a hopped can trait or does it come with non hopped extract too?
Cheers.

Seems people have a different interpretation of what twang is.
Im talking about the metallic tinny bitter taste.
From reading a few threads it may be the kit tin or even the pot im boiling in.
I will try LME in plastic like breiss or mangrove jacks pouches and the DME approach.
Maybe the FWK is a too simple solution.

You ever cooked food in it? Did the food taste like that?

Before you just believe shit written on the internet, ask yourself "Could this person be a moron?". The answer is probably "yes".

Yeh im not too sure it is the pot!
I steeped some spec and hops in it for my FWK which has no twang!
