Ha!! At the price they are wanting for them at the moment I can't pass them on and still call them dealz!! Hopefully will be able to change that situation with the next crop season... Amarillo that is, I think I have some Apollo in my shed you are welcome to have, by the time I get round to doing another brew with it the new season will be sponsored us :)

I would probably buy some Warrior if you stocked it, would save wasting Simcoe for bittering and I figure a 450g pack would last me quite a while being used as a neutral bitterer.

Cascade pellets would be nice too, down to around 100g left.

I use Northern Brewer for bittering my american ales. I like it and seems fairly neutral in that role.

Didn't realise we grew Cascade in Australia. I wonder if there is any huge difference?

Ive currently got flowers of said Australian Cascade, The bub hasnt given me the chance to use them yet so cant comment on the difference, however, the same hop grown in different soil, different latitude, different climate will have differences in AA% and flavour.

as to what exactly they are and if you could pick it, dunno.

Are those the flowers available on the site?

Can you get that hop that's in that beer? That'd be awesome!

But seriously, I think you're going to get a thousand different hops requested. There are ones I'd love to have access to but I'm unsure they'd be a good commercial decision for you. But here goes:

Hersbrucker - big favourite in the nobles and possibly commercially viable for you

Pacific Gem (not Jade) - love it! Anyone else?

Marynka - nearly impossible to find the last couple years. Good lager and porter hop. I'm probably the only person who'd buy though.

Mount Ranier (not Mt. Hood) - love it for porters but I can't find it anywhere.

Really, anything woody, leathery or dark fruits.

I'm going to be having a taste of the first brew I got out of the flowers I ordered tonight, I'll let you know if there are any obvious differences later on, I really hope not though, the bulk of the half pound went into a 10 minute AAA which I am hoping comes though with intense "classic cascade" flavour and aroma.

Good I guess, typical American hop aroma, I'm pretty bloody hopeless at picking up differences before fermentation though.

Northern Brewer is probably the one hop I'd love to see up there. Nice to use it for a good clean bitterness.

I've always used Magnum for a clean bittering hop. Can you really notice the difference between the various "clean bittering" hops? Not saying you're wrong, it's a serious question.

I like to think of them as 'neutral' bittering hops - neutral in that they add very little to the flavour profile. Neutral bittering hops can still have a rough or smooth bittering, so they may not all be as 'clean' as each other. I currently use Magnum, it's been a long time since I used NB and I'd like to try them side by side. You might be right, not so sure that I could pick the difference, but interested to see.

El Dorado, US Cascade and AU Cascade now listed >HERE<

AA% to be listed later, forgot to bring the slip with me...

:beerdrink:

Great prices and descriptions, Yob: El Dorado ="spunky monkey" lol
Your brief descriptions have become my goto site for hops comparisons ;)

Would you be able to write something in the description for Ozzie Cascade indicating how it differs from US Cascade in either flavour or aroma?

Strisselspalt, Target, Brambling Cross, and Northern Brewer would all interest me anyway. i must be due to place an order soon to restock, "its all about saving money SWMBO" ;) .
