Well its been 8 months since i put my last brew on. I lived and breathed brewing for 3 years and just needed a break! October last year was the last brew i did, i had 6 kegs full at the time. I now have half a keg left, im 10kg lighter and 20cm thinner round the gut!

BUT ALAS!!!! The time has come once again for me to put a brew on (and the weight too no doubt!), its been too long!!!! The mash in water is heating up!! The hops have been weighed out!!! And the Recipe is below!!!!

BRING ON THE BREWING!!!!!!! :super:

We missed ya Hopsta , :(

I went for two 40 minute walks yesterday to make more room for the Oatmeal Chocolate Porter that I have been over indulding in :)

Life is about balance the more you drink the more you excercise ;)

Sounds like my long lost twin

Last brewed in anger last August :(

Did do a double brew in January for a niece's wedding, but I gave all that away.

Today I came back. The Mad Mangy Mongrel India Pale Ale (mmm .... IPA!) is in the fermenter, and appropriately frothing at the mouth.

Cracked it in just over 5 hours, hitting every volume and gravity target along the way.

Jeez, it's good to be back :super:

awrabest, stu
