Much much more in my kegs this christmas than last christmas (I actually had to buy beer last christmas), but I'm going to my father-in-laws place for a week this year so won't have any need for it....hope it's a hot January!

I was only talking about this last night with Dad. I need to brew and brew big time. I have nuthin', buckus, zip, zero, nadda! If I don't brew this week I am stuffed! :(

Problem is Pumpy I have lost my brewing MoJo.

Chap Chap

Did you brew the "Leftovers"??? Maybe I should get down there and sort you out Chap CHap!!!! Did you fix those issues we suggested in relation to Infections??? Thats whats put you off.... And just brew a little mate, not every day... I havnt brewed for at least a month but still have plenty beer..... :D

But I think we will be OK for Christmas. :icon_chickcheers:

bud

Jesus Christ himself would be happy to drink that haul on his birthday! You either brew far too often than is healthy or drink far to less than is healthy :p

Personally, I'll have to make do with:

1/2 keg american amber
1 keg Czech pils
1 keg doppelbock
1 keg heffe
25 stubbies belgian tripel
1 Beermasons summer pack.

Cheers - Snow.

1 keg of APA
1 keg of helles
1 keg of pilsner
1 keg of ginger beer
All have been cracked but not too much consumed from them
edit - some random bottles and 2 cartons of toucan stout (unlikely this will get touched though)

21L wheat nearly finished ferment so will be in the keg on the weekend

Need to brew a golden ale, cider and some others and get them into the keg as well

25L summer ale ready to bottle
22L Vienna lager ready to bottle
2 kegs x Pliny Elder Clone
1.5kegs x Partigyle beer from Pliny (ie a light alc % beer)
1/2 keg Apple/Pear & Pomegranate Cider
1 keg x Mongrel RIS/Dunkle/english/Octoberfest
3/4 keg x King Brown (IPA),
3/4 keg x Aussie Gold Digger Lager
2 kegs Golden Rye APA
1 keg mineral water
1 x caseswap of 23 bottles
10 bottles RIS
12 bottles Wee Heavy
about 12 other assorted bottles of god knows what

1 keg home-roasted, keg-hopped American Brown Ale
1 keg Planet of the Grapes
1 keg IPA

soon to add 1 keg Cal. Common.

... and I only have 2 taps. Also have a 12-pack of Beard & Brau's Golden Paw ( :icon_drool2: ). I'd say well stocked enough. Not too bad considering 2 weeks ago I was completely beer-less.

I have a simple system. It's a nice wire bottle rack intended to store wine that sits on the brewery bench. It holds 30 longnecks and when I empty a bottle it gets washed and put in the rack.

When the rack is full it's time to brew. Easy! Even my kids look at the full rack and say, gee Dad's going to be brewing this weekend.

once my brewmarathon is over i'll have

3 kegs of Coffsale (galaxy/simcoe APA)
3 kegs of andrews CPA Clone.

I was in a REAL sad state last week....

Stout was gone
City of Fountains was gone
3 Legged hound was gone
SMaSH was nearly gone 1-2 litres left
Cider is almost gone 4-5 litres left
Cerveza isn't all that wonderful, but I have a fair bit of it
Gumball Head was a full keg
1 Tap was flowing carbonated water
And I had 5 empty kegs...

SO I brewed:
A double batch of Stout
Double batch of City of Fountians
doubl batch of 3 legged hound
and today I am brewing another SMaSH

So hopefully I willbe set for Xmas!

Q. Have you built your stocks up for Christmas?

A. If only - then I could have started using one of these cool advent calendars... :)

Cerveza isn't all that wonderful, but I have a fair bit of it

I did the Cooper's a few months ago, but it was just too bland, so I dry hopped it with some Summer Saaz and some Simcoe. It's a lot tastier now,, but still not as good as my AG stuff LOL

I don't mind the Morgan's so much if you take it for what it is... Lime Injected!

Also have a 12-pack of Beard & Brau's Golden Paw ( :icon_drool2: ). I'd say well stocked enough.

12 pack isn't enough of that beautiful beer. double it, add the Red tail and then get the Bon Chiens and things will be better...they make good bloody good beer... I've got some coming for Christmas.

1 Keg of stout
15 litres or so of Alt, American Brown & Aussie wheat
23 litres of a NS, Dsaaz and galaxy 'Kolsch' type thing
18 litres Summer of Saaz
and a good 60+ litres of mixed bottles from the last 18 months of brewing.

Its not enough so a Saison and an Alt will be down before Christmas and a Green Bullet Ale to fill a keg for NYE.

I still have about 3 batches worth of various ales, plus almost a full batch of BoPils.
Put down 23 litres of hefeweizen last Monday. Should be ready well before Christmas.
Next week I plan to put down a dunkelweizen using some of the yeastcake from the hefeweizen. It should just scrape in and be ready by Christmas.

As taken from my signature.

In the Keg: Hazelnut Brown Ale 4.2%, Modern Day CAP 6%, Aldi's Dickinscider 5%, Hop Cleanout Amber Ale 5%.
Bottled: Berliner Weisse 2.8%, X-mas '09 Case Swap Beers!
Primary: Black IPA, Case Swap TTL, RyePA
Cubed: Nothin!
Planned: Everyday Witbier, 'Jungle' Witbier, German Pilsner, Imperial Pilsner, IIPA.

Planning a light quaffer ale for the weekend to preperation for new years cube and probabaly two APA's to follow. I'm tempted to throw a hefeweizen in there somwhere too as the Hazelnut brown and Hop Cleanout Amber is on its last legs.

Just found out that Christmas will be here this year, which means the inlaws ALL day....

Thankfully I should have 4 kegs full in the fridge by then.
