Has anyone tried using a Wit yeast WLP 400 or the Wyeast equivalent in a more normal all barley based beer? Could you post your observations. :)

I pitched a Cascade Spicy Ghost onto a 3944 yeast cake a while ago and it ended up getting infected. Haven't been game to try it again...

not exactly what you are looking for, but you could try searching for "dampfbeir"
which from memory is a barley based grist with german wheat yeast.
there is a thread on here about it.
