Hi all.

I can read and read and read but what works for me is video tutorials.. I had a look at you tube but there are a lot on there that do different things..

Does anyone know of any good videos showing All Grain brewing for newbies like myself who want to move away from Kits and have a go at All grain..

Since I'll be using a esky mash with a Stainless Steal pot for a kettle would be nice to have a video with them..

cheers for your help.

BasicBrewing Stepping into All Grain Brewing DVD is good.

Watching an AG brewday is by far the best way to go, any AG brewers close to you?

Screwy

I have no idea if there are any AG brewers near me.. The only people I know use kits...

Fully agree on that, but be warned, once youve watched one and also drank alot of AG beer afterwards(thanks screwy) you will want to do a brew within a week... I did and did.. ;)

May have already seen these but reckon Joe Polvino's 'From Grain to Glass' Part 1 & 2 on you tube are the most straightforward vids you'll see, and will give you a good idea as to how it all works. He is american though, so I had to scribble so notes to do conversions on some of the stuff he was talking about:

He keeps it dead simple which is a blessing - so many vids out there get bogged down in the detail.

Hopper.

Awesome. Great vid, thanks for the link. As an extract brewers I've watched a couple mates do AG and this video really simplifies and clarifies some things, could be dangerous.

+1 on those 8 youtube vids, great run-down by that guy indeed.

Loving the stumbly-drunk-blurry intro montage, too :D

Pretty cool!
His techinque is much like mine.
Only one heating vessel and no pumps or various height brew tables.
One kettle/boiler and one mash tun

This is how my first setup will be also.
