Geordi Bsp Sizing

Hi All,

Can anyone confirm if the BSP fittings on the Geordi site listed in metric sizes are compatible with imperial fittings from other manufacturers? For example will 12mm BSP socket from Geordi fit a 1/2" BSP quick disconnect from Colder? Geordi's tech page implies that they are compatible, but doesn't say so specifically?

On a similar topic, can somebody confirm that 1/2" BSP and NPT fitting are suitably compatible for brewing? For example, will a 1/2" BSP socket fit on the 1/2" NPT outlet of my March Pump?

Yeah thats a bit weird 12mm BSP will be 1/2".

BSP & NPT share the same thread pitch in 1/2" & will mate. They differ in thread shape so go easy on torque & use teflon tape to get a thread seal.

For future reference, I just spoke with Geordi who confirmed that all BSP and NPT fittings are imperial, but are shown on their website in metric to fit with their internal systems. The table on the tech page can be used to confirm what is what.
