OK, I'm thinking of painting my keg fridge. But I want to make it different, so I was thinking of painting a b/w pattern on it. What do you think of these ones?

I like this one, hard but not too difficult. I can imagine the whole door like this

blue_rotational_500x437__Small_.gif

This one will be black instead of blue, obviously. However, the taps might distract from the effect

This looks really cool... but... man, it'll be really hard to paint! Still... if someone can think of a way to make the painting process easier, it'll be nice to hear it, because this is my favourite

I won't use this because it's too hard... but I felt like putting it in anyway

Again, I'll make it black and white, I have the same problem with its two circle version.

Anyway, that's what I'm thinking so far! what do you all think of them?

P&C your reportedly the ART student why not just get on with it and then show your result. I'm sure Michelangelo diden't hang out on the net trying to get ideas from others....

Couldn't agree any more, do it, and show us the end result.

p&k - from those designs u must be getting your inspiration from the tv test pattern posting at 3:16am.

looking forward to see the end result

I like the fourth one. The one you said was too hard. It would look awesome with a tap coming out of the middle of it. If you made a template for one of those squiggle lines then it would be fairly easy, as all you'd then have to do is spray and rotate.

They are all optical illusions that appear to move.... thats the last thing I want to look at after a few pints

p&k heres what mines going to be painted like in the process at the moment

P & C
If you take the pic to a sign writer some of them have the ability to scan it and reproduce it as a sign that will stick on the fridge. Just tell 'em the size.
Cheers

Arts, not art. I study International Relations. (I suppose if you want to be pedantic, I study Social Sciences)

I'm aiming to have 2 taps and where they would be located on the door would make the size of the design a little too small for my liking. However, I didn't think of something like that! cheers for your input

lol, that's what I was going for in a way. I was told that apparently there is a pattern that is sprayed on some cruisers that disorient the person, making it difficult to tell what the orientation of the boat is. However, I don't know what it's called or even if it exists (pub talk, you know the story).

Bighanno- cheers for the links, they are giving me something to think about.

Also, with one pattern, I was thinking of swapping the black/white bits-

kindergarten2.GIF

(I inverted the colours- for some reason the white didn't turn black... oh well)

which will make a template a little easier to cut. Do you think it still works like that? Or does the inversion rob it of its effectiveness?
