English Special Ale

Hey guys,

After waiting 2 or so months for Redoak to brew some more of their delicious English Special Ale i've now reached a point where i'm wondering what it would be like to make. I only had it once, admittedly its was about the 5th or so beer in the session, but I remember it being quite unique and something I really want to try again. Anyone ever attempted it? Know anywhere in Sydney that I can purchase a good example of the style to try again?

Not sure about English Special, are you thinking of ESB? Extra Special Bitter?

Otherwise there's Youngs Special London Ale.

I've had Fullers (which was great) but this beer didn't taste like that. I'm pretty sure it's not that style. It's the only one that they have a hand pump for.
