Labels- Interesting, I'd never considered malt flavour being stripped... Were you using a 1 micron absolute filter?
I know you predominantly brew lagers so I'm happy to take that bit of advice on board, like I'd mentioned I get crystal beers using the method I posted but was looking to get that little bit clearer.
