-The kegs we have now are the same great condition as we always have had. Pepsi most certainly did NOT keep/save and continue to use the crappy ones for last! The "Scrapper kegs" were the FIRST ones they got rid of!
-Look at the feedback thread from the beginning.

Mat,
Looked back at the thread from the beginning. Seems only now that the kegs are lower condition than before. Maybe Pepsi did not save the crappy ones to last, but I bet you have sold the crappy ones last. Pepsi just mixed a couple of crap ones into each of your batches, now you have a few remaining at less than good condition. Over the years I have had a supplier of second hand kegs in Aust. He too buys in bulk. Now he is at the end of the supply and the ones remaining I wouldn't touch with a 40 metre pole.
I suggest that the ones you have remaining would have ruined your reputation if you sent them out first. Buyers beware, I have seen the kegs that remain after all the good ones are sold.
I bet you even have some with "double" relief valves and the "bails" on the lid dont touch the top of the keg when closed (ie no seal except if the keg is highly gassed)
I am only posting this because you maintain they are in excellent condition.
The last couple of posters suggest otherwise.
cheers
Darren

OK, I'M PUTTING A STOP TO THIS NOW!
You sir, don't know beans of what we have and don't have. Round trip ticket to SFO is now only $700. COME ON OVER AND SEE WHAT WE HAVE BEFORE YOU START WRITING ABOUT WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT. -COME ON OVER AND LET PEPSI TELL YOU THEIR POLICIES. -Yep, as a large Corporation I am sure, by YOUR expertise, that they would decide to keep and use the crappy kegs for last. Oh, and of course, WE have plenty of room to store all those "bad kegs" for all these years (since 1996)...at about 60,000 kegs per year going through here!
-Granted, the last couple of boxes sent out were packaged by one of newer workers in my absence, BUT.......the 30 or so other orders....apart from -THE TWO- posters that received "less than standard kegs" are quite happy it seems!
-I HIGHLY RECCOMEND that you write only about what you know about and leave your assumptions in your head; that's where they belong.
-I am sure as more buyers recieve their kegs, they too will be quite happy with their purchase, for, as stated, the kegs we are sending out now are the same great used quality as they have always been.
-Now....just as we had a similar BrewHAHA about wether the kegs were even shipped or not (go back to the FB and see where we started to email the U.S. Customs Forms), and how we had to bear the brunt of a lot of verbal bull-pucky for the length of time that it took for the kegs to arrive and the buyers posted that they did indeed recieve the kegs...we will now, undoubtably, have to put up with a lot of BS like what you just posted. Thank you for adding your wealth of knowledge and expertise to this thread....you are truly "the expert".
-OH...and did you speak with the other poster ( Fingerlickin_B) about how we are sending a replacement keg AND EXTRA GOODIES for free, (for the keg that is leaking from the weld) including shipping? We have ALWAYS done this, AM doing it and WILL CONTINUE to do this to keep our customers satisfied! But for you, I bet that isn't called "taking care of the customer".
-Is this a flame...YOU BET......WHY? Because you don't know a darn thing of market conditions or what we have/don't have OR our Beliefs to customer service and our Trust in our product! When you write "assumptions" like you did, it comes back to you.
-Now...Good Day "Sir".
PS:
-Pricing reduction: We are "blowing out" another keg seller: That's called "Crushing the Competition!"
-Availablility of kegs: I spoke with Pepsi this week and they may be releasing another 4,000 kegs instead of sending them overseas. We will know more later.
-"Double relief valves"....Heck, the platic "Dome Top" valves are MORE RELIABLE then the "pull ring" type! RE: Valves that have a plastic flip knob (release on center, close on either side) THOSE ARE THE SAME AS PULL RING VALVES! The only difference is one has a pull ring the other has a plastic "flipper knob"! But...of course...you knew this, didn't you?
PSS:
RE: Terry at BD....It is true as posted here on the Aussie Forum...he does not respond to email very well, he never has. He is not a "computer guy". BUT, as the man in charge of our small Parts, the customer HAS ALWAYS RECEIVED WHAT THEY ORDERED, and in the rare event they did not, orders were completed via 1st class mail and received by the customer in a few days.
RE: Shipping quote error on our BD website; There is a RECURRING code error that returns false shipping quotes. Just enter your items and nothing in the shipping section and Terry ALWAYS applies the correct shipping rate for the weight and location of the goods ordered. If you want to see what your shipping of kegs will be, look at the ebay site shipping links.
