Its b-day time coming up so i thought i'd buy the pressents i want people(family) to give me ;) beer books

I was thinking of the following:
Designing Great Beers
New Brewing Lager Beer
Continental Pilsener (Classic Beer Style Series)
Kolsch (Classic Beer Style Series)

Most likly in that order, now i have john palmers book, so i dont want to double up on that, but i assume Ray Daniels Designing Great Beers is far more in depth? and hence not a double up but takes the matter further??

I also would like a lager/pils book hence the next 2 books, i feel this might be a double up so any one have them and can tell me what is better

and finally Kolsch, it had 5/5 star ratings everywhere i looked and sounds interesting :)

any further help guys?
Ben
