Anyone tried this or know if it's available anywhere in Australia?

If you have tried it, please give your opinion :)

I haven't seen it in Aus Fingerlickin but I did see it when I was in France. I noticed it because it was in the supermarket along side Amsterdam Mariner and Navigator. I'd tasted Mariner here and wasn't all that impressed, so when I saw all three in the supermarket together with a bunch of other flavourless lagers I didn't rush to buy one. I checked Beeradvocate when I got home and guessed I made the right choice.

Amsterdam Mariner is sold by Dan's (and the other woollies chains) so I reckon at that ABV it won't see the light of day in Aus. Probably a good thing considering the reviews.

Yeah, I buy Mariner quite regularly when I need some non-HB and can't afford more than the cheap $30 a case it costs.

Actually, I reckon at $30 it's the best value-for-$ beer out there...not the best beer, no way, but a drinkable and cheap option should the need arise :)

Not tried that one, but having tried 'super strength' lagers whilst living over in ol' blighty I'd recommend giving it a miss.

Made for wino's and hangovers... :(

No Maximator is amazing. It really burns the nose hairs on the first sip, but wow, it's funky. It'll never win any awards but ticks my boxes...

Ironically it's flavour is not dissimilar to crown ambassador with sells for $100 a bottle!
