Aluminium Stock Pots

Hi Guys,
I am considering going down the 90L Aluminium Stock Pot path in my Brewery (as Batz, Jayse and Chiller have). I have a few questions.

1. What kind of taps/ fittings did you guys use? In How to Brew, Palmer warns of using brass or stainless in aluminium as it will corrode really fast. What do you guys use? and how did you put the fittings in. Can you get aluminium ball valves?

2. does anyone in Sydney use them, or know of a place to buy them? I know pumpy bought some 60L ones from a shop in Auburn, can you help me out with an address?

Hi Tim,

Try Allquip in Tempe.
Also their is a good catering supply joint at the bottom of King Street in Newtown, just before Tempe station.

Hi Tim,
Here is the ball valve I use. It is all SS (Thanks big d). I have used it a few times now with no probs at all.
I have a 60 litre ally kettle and got a hole drilled in it. (Thanks sosman).
