Truth is I don't know, there is some discussion that we should be filling it... if it's not being filled in a few weeks it'll be going.

Sent an email, got told they haven't been emptied yet but he'll let me know when they do.. So hang in there. They'll pop up at some point and I'll jump on em..

What is the recommended time frame for aging beer in barrels?
 
from months to years, depends on the age of the barrel and how much has been extracted from it.

The Keg of RIS Ive pulled out of one of mine after 3 months is intense, by the time 100l has cycled through it, it'll need longer and longer, eventually it will need to be shaved and re-charred to get the oak coming through again.
