mornin all, my brew seems to be setteling around the 1012 mark, same reading 2nd day..
its a bit high aint it?
Does it drop more during carbing?
What are the implications of a high FG?

Cheers

:icon_offtopic: Off topic question.

CC a brew drops out the yeast etc.. my understanding is that its yeast in small quantities left over in the primary that do the carbing so if its cold conditioned to drop the yeast out....
who does the carbing???

Yes it is most likely finished fermenting give it another day and see. 1.012 is low enough worry about it if its 1.016 or above.

Even though you cold crash there is still enough yeast in solution for the priming. I have keep beers at 2C for a week to clear out and they prime without a problem when they get to the bottle.
