Can someone explain the differnece between grain brands to me. ok for example. JW Pils f0r 25 kg is around $55 - $60 where Weyerman is $100 for 25kg of pils. some HBS will sell 25kg bags of JW yet others wont..but they will sell 2kg bags of it...and vice versa. is the german pilsner grain...

so what happens if I leave a keg to gas over 24 hrs. then when I go to turn it off I discover the gas had run out during the gassing up ? do I just keep burping the keg until it is flat again then re-gas ? hasn't happened but I reckon it will soon....I have had my gas bottle on since April...

I have read in the reciped DB about late hopping and dry hopping etc. So far I have only used pellets during the boil with BIAB. What exactly does "late hopping" mean? Also, I have seen pics of people chucking a few hop flowers into the keg ???? whats doin there? I have also seen finishing...

I have heard (2nd hand) about blokes chucking a packet of redskins lollies into the fermenter . The story goes that the beer was awesome. is this a true story ? what sort of beer ? I quite like redskins....rather red frogs though.
