I got some amarillo from the LHBS .
They didn't have any in the fridge so a fella...not the main dude ...said he will get me some.
about 10 mins later ( felt like 45 ) he came from out the back with a new bag all sealed up etc.
He looked a bit unsure of himself when I asked him about it.

Now when I did a batch I noticed that were two different coloured pellets in the bag.
I have only been doind the BIAB for a short while and have not seen this before.

I brewed it during some attrociously hot weather .

It came out fine ....but nothing like previous batches of Dr smurtos JSGA.
I can't taste the amarillo at all to be honest.

anyone know about the colour of pellets??

I will take some pics this arvo when I get home if that will help.

bright green and dark green? or even some brown looking ones? (have mostly seen brown hop plugs / flowers though)

It can happen from time to time, lots of theories on why, like a hop supplier mixing up some old with new but most likley this is all just heresay.

if you are unsure of quality just get them elsewhere.

I have seen it happen, received 5kg of hops of two distinct colours. It was obvious that two batches had been mixed. I returned them and got a refund. Cant say its ever happened since.
