Hello, I want to use gelatine in my current brew, but also want to re-use my yeast. Does the gelatine inhibit this by encapsulating the yeasts or does it simply attach and sink, being able to be seperated when rinsing?

According to the Yeast book, beer can look perfectly clear to the naked eye but still contain up to n yeast cells where n is a large number (can't lay my hand on the book right this instant) and more than enough to condition.

Thanks for your help people. My return to brewing went well yesterday except that I didn't lose the expected amount during the boil. Live and learn.
