Hi guys,

Currently brewing a hard lemonade, really simple recipe used pure lemon juice (20 lemons worth) bit of honey, 500g lactose and 1118 yeast and filled up to 22 litres.

As expected from the 1118, it's dry as a camels rear, lot of lemon on the nose not a lot on the tongue, all in all a pretty bland brew. Although it's still fermenting (5 days in, still a lot of airlock activity).

I thought about doing the same brew with cherry juice (supermarket sells 100% pure for $7 a litre) then I thought should I just dumpt 2 litres in the fermenter now and make a cherry lemonade?

Will it just dry it out even more and leave no cherry flavour? If I were to do it as a seperate batch I will probably not use 1118 as I'm only hitting 5%abv and needed the hardy yeast for the acidity of the lemons.
