Hi guys,
I've cubed a double batch, with the aim to make one batch a belgian dubbel, BUT i'm not sure what to make with the second cube.
My current thoughts are:
Schwartzbier - water down to 1.050, add some hallertauer, use a lager yeast
Black IPA - Mini boil with some US hops and add US05.
Any ideas?
Cheers
recipe of the cube (dubbel without syrup)
Cube Volume: 19.00 l
OG: 1.060
IBU: 20.5 IBUs
4.57 g Gypsum
1.26 g Calcium Chloride
3.59 kg Pilsen (Dingemans) 79.9 %
0.67 kg Vienna Malt (Weyermann) 15.0 %
0.17 kg Carafa Special II (Weyermann) 3.8 %
0.06 kg Acidulated (Weyermann) 1.3 %
17.14 g East Kent Goldings [5.00 %] 60 mins 11.4 IBUs
18.42 g Styrian Goldings [5.00 %] - 30 min 9.1 IBUs
