A little equation to explain:

If 'number of children' > $$ then 'glad wrap'= 0

The implications are cyclic in that 'no glad wrap = more children'

So let me get this straight, Gladwrap + wife :rolleyes: -45 beer > No gladwrap -$ (Children)2 - fun?

Should be fine for a week or two as long as you leave it undisturbed. I gather you are meaning FG (Final Gravity) and not SG (Starting Gravity)? Otherwise pitch now ASAP!!!!

Cheers

Haha, SG means specific gravity chap chap.

OG = Original Gravity
FG = Final Gravity
SG = Specific Gravity. Both OG and FG are SG's.

Yep, and using 'SG = Start Gravity' is what causes confusion.

When using SG in combo with FG it is pretty clear what they mean, but SG on its own...

Light the torches mob.

I have no issues with SG on its own. It means specific gravity. It should never be used as a synonym for starting gravity!

For the last 5 brews I have been using the new special purpose glad wrap from Craftbrew. It is especially made for HB as it has a film of starsan built in to stop infections. I cant find the link just now.

When I use gladwrap I always chuck the first foot that comes off the roll as it's probably littered with critters - especially when it's been used for wrapping chicken breasts the day before.
