Hey people,
Only been brewing a couple of months now. Just doing extract. Keeping it pretty simple, slowly learning by plenty of
mistakes. Might make another now!
"AM I TRIPPING "or would a fellow real brewer (all grainer) who lives local, say inner west Sydney/ and just say we like the same type of beer (pacific, pale ale), be interested in me buying the grains to facilitate a wort meant for two??
I understand this might insense some people. As i have never all grained and don't know the ins and outs but just putting it out there.
Just two months in and I'm getting a bit of a backlog (thank god for two fermenters). Can't imagine what say ten years brewing would be like.
Seems like all grainers just make smaller batches which got me wondering; how about brewing to capacity and let me pay for your brew, or some other appreciative young brewer (I'm not young).
It is just murky water so wouldn't think laws could be broken. Hope I've stayed inline of the forum as well.
Look forward to your responses.
Cheers

Its not a silly idea to split costs between brewers, ive done collab brews with others on their kit and weve all gone home with a cube worth of wort at the end etc

Hell the case swaps we do this at scale (upto 1000L)

I've also brewed cubes for mates that are time poor as I just up my volume to the next cube size up (I go in 11L cubes these days)

If you were local id say we could do a brew day at each others and share knowledge etc and swap cubes

Might be worth seeing if you have any clubs around you as well

If your worried about not brewing to volumes and having capacity to ferment, ive got something like 12x 11L cubes sitting in my garage waiting for me to have capacity (ive got 3 fermenters I need to keg/bottle atm)

Somethings ive time to brew but no fermenter space so I fill some cubes (ive got a 2.5year old so can be time poor) then when ive got space I start to ferment
