Just cleaned up the list a little.

mmcenall - so basically - it's a lot of effort and doing a batch all at once is the only way to do it. If there are a lot of people interested in a second large batch, then possibly. However, I have no idea on timeframe for it or if it would happen. So... if you want one, put your name down and get one while they're hot. Plus... 70 is your lucky number

I'm working on something super exciting. Well.. I think so. Laser cut box, power supply, SSR, switches and connectors and arduino mega and pre-constructed PCB... Still sorting out a couple of sources. I'll need 30 people to commit up front to make it possible. Working on final costs, but somewhere around $145 I think ( depending on how much I can get the various parts for this might go up or down... I'm most of the way there). I'm trying to find a power supply that will allow enough space to allow two SSRs for those who want to run two heating elements, or to run the pump through an SSR. Box is the same as I posted of my controller above, with 20x4 LCD to boot. The aim is that you receive all the parts needed, and the PCB ( the part that most struggle with) is already built. You wire it all together and presto! Controller ready to brew!

I hadn't factored in the heatsink, temp probe. I'm still working on all the parts and will post a final price once I get one. It will be higher than the $145+shipping though. I'm waiting to get all the pricing on parts back. There isn't much point predicting another wrong $figure

The heatsink is very solid and looks like a go. I've asked for definite thermal resistance numbers to do the math on the capacity, but it should be good. For those wanting super heating capacity, it looks like you should be able to drill holes in the top horizontal fins and mount an 80mm fan for active cooling (not going to be included in the kit...).

The PCB design is within a whisker of being finalised and sent off to fab for set up. The design changes look excellent!

I have to say even the likes of Intel and apple leak something on the dev as release gets closer, we all know you've got a few surprises on their way, some clues perhaps?

Absolutely Lluisdomene - just put your name on the list. It is not just the pcb though, it is a kit with pre-cut box, pre-made pcb, power sockets, ssrs, power supply, arduino and all the screws etc you need. You'll still need to wire it up. I'm trying to get all the parts so it is a completely solderless construction.
