Temperature Control

Hi

I have recently got a fermenting fridge and a Temperature Controller.

I have a KegKing Mark II controller and I am not sure how to set the optimum temperature for a specific brew.

For example I have a Coopers IPA can and the instructions say that the brew temperature should be between 21-27 C. At what temperature should I set on the controller? Do I set it for 24-25 for example? Thanks for your help.

I am on my 5th brew and I am going away for a week, I decided to put the fermentation tank in the beer fridge while I am away to see the results at 10 degree, I know it's colder than normal but I have read that it will bring out all the flavours as the yeast has time to work.

Don't anyone jump on me, Sydney weather jumps from 24 to 44, too much variation. waiting for a controller .

General rule is Ales at 18 and Lagers at 13

Agree with bookers. Ignore the kits instructions and set at 18 l. Then after the hydrometer flatlines cold crash for a few days down to 1deg before bottling or kegging.
