Hey guys,

Gonna have a few mates over for a brew day, show them how to put a simple brew together. Now most of them would be VB/Carlton drinkers so I was
wondering if anyone has a nice partial recipe for a simple ale nothing to offensive as they would say but something they'd enjoy. Also gonna do an all grain
with them but will be making myself a nice ESB.

Cheers Guys

Aaron

Smurto's Golden Ale (in the recipe database) is popular with craft beer lovers and yobbos alike. Do the extract version for a quick and simple brew day.

Either Nick JD's stovetop aussie lager or Andrew QLD's coopers clone. Replace whatever pale malt you need with extract.

Can't see that an all grain beer that is made well would be offensive to newbs!

Make your own fav, show them how easy it is and enjoy some brews with the lads. :icon_cheers:

Yeah true that, but want to teach them how to do a partial as most have never made a beer, Golden ale and Coopers clone side like a good option.

Cheers guys

Best way to teach someone how to make great beer is to have great beer already made for them to drink while you teach them.

People love to look a gifthorse in the mouth. Show them good teeth.
