Hi,
Is anyone attending the cert 3 in microbrewing at TafeSA in a few weeks? Not from Adelaide, is the school near any cool bars?

Not from SA either but the wheatsheaf is a hop, skip and jump from cbd and is an excellent pub with similarly excellently brewed house beers.

I completed that course earlier this year, the only bar that's worth going to, walking from TAFE, is Brewboys( http://www.brewboys.com.au/)
Other than than you need a car or public transport.

Semaphore has Sweet Amber Brew Cafe
Royal Park has Big Shed Brewing Concern
Theberton has the Wheatsheaf and Pirate Life
Adelaide has heaps of cool bars, and isn't far from Tafe. Nola, Kings Head, Gilbert St Hotel etc etc
Little Bang Brewing is a bit further in Stepney

Hope that helps. Good luck with the course, its great..

Anyone who has done this course, do you recommend it? Would love to hear peoples experiences.

I am looking at doing it in Semester 1 next year, but will be heading over from Perth to do it so it will be a costly venture. Want to make sure it will be worth it in the long run!

Are you able to check within the industry as to what micro brewers think of the course, few phone calls perhaps.
