Well, backstory time...

Our hot water system has just decided that it's pilot light is all it wants to burn, not much for heating the water....

So we call the real estate agent (we rent), the soonest their "emergency hot water guy" can get here is tomorrow morning...

Now I start work at 4am, which means getting up to shower at 2am, the wife starts work at 7:30am........you see our problem???



The solution:

My 40L crown urn is currently on my bedside table next to the bath heating up water so I can at least have a bath tonight and an english shower in the morning....


And my wife mocked me when I bought it last week

My $2 rolling pin, good for cracking specialty grains, doubles as my daughter's play-doh rolling pin.

edit: come to think of it, maybe that had something to do with last years run of infections...
