OK, seeing as Dr Smurto's Golden Ale has rave reviews I think I'll change my order to make it my first one.

Can you please update my order?

1/2 Vienna taken care of MattC

Not sure of the make up of 1/2 bags but looks like I could split the Munich I with Stillscottish. Not sure about the Pale Wheat.

The Scientist and myself were after floor malted marris otter, we're Bairds on the spreadsheet. No takers on my BB ale split so may as well make it a full bag.

Yeah what jlm said is true, floor malted please. Cheers for all the good work you are putting in Squire :beerbang:

Are there any plans for an arrival date for this bulk buy? The talk was for the end of January - I need to be in Brisbane on Sat 24th Jan, so I could drive the SunshineCoast GrainTrain again if the dates match. If its the following weekend I can't help unfortunately.

Nice work once again Sqyre :super:

We seem to be at 45 sacks ATM with 15 more needed to fill the second pallet unless we can depend on Ross's generosity once again?

TP, It's 36 sacks to a pallet, so you need another 27 to maximise your freight, otherwise your freight costs will just be a little higher per bag.
It would make sense to me, that in future if you cut off at 36 sacks (1st come 1st served), otherwise you'll be either waiting to fill pallets or costing you more.
I've just had my delivery, so unfortunately not needing anything at present.

Cheers Ross

I'll be up for 1 maybe 3 just trying to decide.

My last keg of beer is all but gone :( so I have some serious brewing to do!

I have added in to the spreadsheet the cost to share the entire cost of the Frieght for the Total number of Pallets. (highlighted in Blue)
It now works on the basis that the closer we get to a full pallet the cheaper it gets.

Now....
With Turkey Head hopefully getting 3 sacks added into the equation we have a total of 52.5 sacks
with 3 splits without partners.

So we are 20 sacks off getting a 2nd pallet...
there are presently 27 of us, if anyone was ummming and ahhhing about getting that extra sack, do it now! and we can get this sucker closed.

Hey Sqyre. Great work on organising this.

Can you please remove the BB ale from mine, make the 0.5 bag of Weyermann Pils into 2 bags and make the 1/2 bag of pale wheat into a whole bag.

Thus,
19. Parks - 2 x Weyermann Pils, 1/2 x Munich I (shared with stillscottish), 1 x Weyermann Pale Wheat

There, I've done my bit. (no-one tell the missus...)

Cheers,
Parks

Guys are we going to be able to make another pallet?
Otherwise perhaps a few would be happy to drop out and do this again in 6 weeks?
I would drop out or add a couple of bags...whatever.

I'll be happy as long as I get 1 bag of Weyermann Pils. Probably best to make a cut-off date soon.

Doing a quick calc it costs $0.31 per kilo for freight on a full pallet so if we get a pallet and a half it will cost $0.41 per kilo. Talking about $2.50 per bag difference in price...

honestly, i'd be happy to let my order slide until the next one as I am only ordering grain to get my ass into gear to finish my AG setup...

so, like, whatever :)

I'll look at a sack of Vienna as well as the BB Ale unless someone would like to split....?

Cheers

The other option is...
If those guys who dont mind waiting another week or 2 put thier hands up..
i will shift them to a 2nd spreadsheet that we can leave running untill its Full.

In the meantime the Guys left on the original spreadsheet can Pay and get the order through sooner.
This also means that if you know you dont need a bag or 2 for a couple of weeks take them out and just order the grain your desperate for.
And i can add your "not so desperate" bags of grain orders to the 2nd spreadsheet.

Squire I have enough already to last me a few weeks so you can put my order on the next one. If kram needs the vienna that I am splitting with him we could get it this time around and Ill get the BB ale next one.

I'll split a bag with you Nick.

I am happy to wait for the next order if need be.

Next order for me Sqyre

Take me off the list please Brucie, no need to add me to the second.

cheers

Is this correct?

BB Ale for example

Bulk buy $44 normal $60

0.31 cents per kg freight = $7.75

Therefore a saving of $8.25 per bag on a bulk buy as opposed to walking in the shop and picking it up anytime?
