So I was making a Kit from Coopers Recipe of the Month, Roger Roger Ale.

I went to rehydrate the US-05, however mad a bit of a boo boo

I placed about 300ml of water into my sanitized mixing jar so I could get a reading from my thermometer. I was suppose to pour out the excess so I had 110ml left, however forgot to do this.

I realised after I poured the yeast in. Went ahead and let it sit for 15 min, then stirred then let sit another 10.

Anyone know if this will cause a problem. Its been 24 hours and no krasuen activity yet. Will check again tomorrow after work and take a sample to check gravity to see whats happening. If I have to I can sprinkle another US-05 on top.

Aside from slightly diluting your wort by about 190ml, I dont think there will be any issues

All good

Unless I've got my IPA glasses on, all that went wrong was too much water? If so.. RDWHAHB
