Brewer's Notes

I did not find just right ingredients (fom the list). They are:
Pale Malt (2 Row from belgium) 7 EBC
Nalle Flaked Barley 3,3 EBC
Wyermann Black Malt 1400 EBC
So EBC color are 82,1 EBC

Made a version of this (a while ago) that was infected. So repeated the dose and got a rather nice "old" style black. Put in a keg and it went rather quickly. A simple recipe that shows how rewarding this style can be.
 
Just a formality, the recipe is marked as an oatmeal stout when its a dry stout.

looks like a solid recipe either way.

70% base
20% flaked barley
10% black/roast barley/malt

exaclty the way i like 'em and brew 'em!
