Hello brewers,

I haven't brewed for a while but haven't resisted the urge to purchase hops every chance I get.

I planning on putting this down next weekend. I'm looking for a good amount of hop flavor/aroma with a malty backbone.

I've only used Galaxy before so I don't have experience using any of the other hops in this recipe.

Anyone think this will taste alright?

its almost bang on one of my recipes but with pacifica

must say its one of my favs
 
Interesting.

Do you sub the pacifica for Galaxy?

I've been thinking of using pacifica in this recipe as I like it in the commercial beers I've tasted that use it.
 
Yes but too much late in the boil adds an orange marmalade tone, but you might like it

Motueka is one of my fav hops, cant get enough

I think I'll go with the recipe but I'm going to weak the Galaxy and Motueka additions so they add similar IBU's

Motueka and Pacifica go together very, very well.

I've used Magnum for bittering, Pacifica and Motueka for flavour/aroma in APA's,ABA's,IPA's,IIPA's,Amber ales, and even Baltic porters.

Delicious when used in right amounts.
