23 Chads Pinot Noir Chocolate Porter
Poured a deep red/brown with a minimalistic head. Quite a bit happening in the aroma stakes - mint, raisins, milk chocolate and sour winey notes. Being lightly carbonated it was very smooth and mellow on the palette. I was getting mint/chocolate/sweet malt/coffee flavours with the chocolate outlasting all except a grape bite at the death. A definate sipper, works well as a nightcap since it sure put me on my arse. Quite well balanced over all, the only whine is that it was a touch winey by the end of the bottle.
