Has anyone done a mangrove jacks pear cider? If so what was the results?

I've done 2, very good and would buy again. Tastes very similar to Castaways. Benefits from about 4 weeks in the bottle, primed around 200gm dextrose in 23 litres.

I've done about 4. Always very popular with the cider drinkers. Try to buy a kit as fresh as possible, store it in a fridge till you do it.

I ferment at 18c and leave in the fermenter for 6-8 weeks for smoothness. But I keg. So this is essentially bottle conditioning

If you are kegging, add the final essence into the keg for back sweetening

Thanks yeah I'll be putting it in a keg I'm still getting the hang of keg gassing

Yeah thanks everyone. I'll be kegging it but I'm still learning that art anymore tips with Gas ECt

I found the kit was enhanced with some fresh pear and strawberries

Also only used half of the sweetener

Cheers
