Turned the corner off Windsor road onto Annagrove road at Nelson the other day and noticed the Nathan's smash repairs has closed down and has a great big banner slung across the front of it saying "New Brewery & Bar Opening Here Soon"

Anyone got the scoop on who it is and what the plans are?

If you search 'rouse hill brewery' you will find a thread from acouple of weeks ago.. Scroll down alittle and there is a link to the owners website. No idea when it is opening but can't wait!

Dropped in yesterday. They are open now, but construction is still under way.
No craft beer available yet. They said it still about 6 weeks away.

do you know what styles of beers they are brewing?

and what kind of commercial / craft beers do they sell?

Any website?

Cheers & Thanks!

No idea what they are going to be making, but by the look of the equipment, it will be in decent volumes.

I saw all the usual megaswill on tap, plus some James Squires.

Web site of sorts here [post="0"]http://www.australianhotelandbrewery.com.au/[/post]

Sureley they could have come up with a better name..

very true... lets just hope the beer is more interesting! About time western sydney gets a craft brewery pub.
Parramatta was going to get a brewery at one of the restraunts in 2009 but it seems that has stalled. Honestly Parramatta - the second city of sydney and not a single decent ale watering hole or brewery (Oh apart from bavarian beer cafe)

Don't forget Paddy's at Flemington.

Went out here last week with the Hills Brewers (Cheers to Doc & Neil for organising).

2 Beers are on tap - Galaxy Pale ale and a Mexican Cerveza. Both very nice beers for summer.
Awesome pizza's too. Can't wait to go back.

Is Rouse Hill on the way to Penrith ? Out that way sometime this week, and might stop in for one or two at this new venue if its not far from the motorway.

Fair drive from the motorway.
It's more north west. About 10 minutes from Castle Hill

I trust the Hills Brewers made use of this [from the website]:

"Cool Room features:

* 4 private booths equipped with their very own podium and dancing pole. Each booth can seat up 10 people"

That would be have been quite a sight!

We sure did.
It got a bit ugly with Danny & Freddo fighting over the pole.

Gonna be hard to shake that mental picture. Thanks Greg.

Went there last week for lunch. Food was great. Five craft beers on tap. Four regulars (pale ale, dark lager, mid strength, and Cerveza) plus a guest Belgium. Tried them all. All nice. Inspired me to have a crack at the pale ale, a Galaxy inspied barley/wheat beer, with late hopping.

^^^^

1. Its not complete
2. It's not going to be a brewpub.

Yes, that too :)

So, three good reasons why Casey's Beer is not the New Western Sydney Brew Pub in Rouse Hill
