Hi guys, I want to lay this down this arvo, just need some advice on hops...

I'm going for a APA, nice hop flavour, not too bitter....

Was going to try this:
2 x 1.7kg LME tins (Wal's pale)
500g Ultra Brew
200g Crystal (steeped for 20 mins)
20g Centennial @ 30 min
30g Cascade @ 20 min
30g of Cascade @ 10 min
6L, 60 min boil.

BUT.. I only have 27g of Cascade left!
I have the following hops.... any other suggestions?
90g galaxy
27g cascade
30g Nelson Suv.
40g centennial (60g total, 20g used above)
15 Super Alpha
60g Motueka (B.Saaz)

Cheers

There is no perfect combo......... it all comes down to your personal preference as you will be drinking it :)

I say do a couple of them as one hop wonders to learn the different characters

If you want to stick with your current recipe which looks good...... use the Centennial..... its the closest to Cascade that you will get

Cheers

Are you using 2X Wals bittered tins.
If so, plus the hops you are boiling, I wouldn't put it in the "not too bitter" category.

Centennial's the closest to Cascade. It's nice when small amounts of Galaxy or Nelson Sauvin are used at 10 minutes to accentuate it but still use it as the main hop.
