New LHBS in SE Melb Burbs (Dandy South)

Gday Gents,

Many of you have dealt with Core Brewing Concepts in the past and have had mixed dealings with him. One of the problems he faced was trying to work out of a garage.
(For those of you that have been to his house you know how chockers his garage always was.)

Anyway hes currently setting up a new Home brew shop which is located in a brand new block of factory units on Greens road Dandy South, near Eastlink.
(If you turn left onto Greens road South bound on Eastlink its just at the bottom of the hill on the left (Diagonally opposite Iron Man 4x4)

He"s not open or a few more weeks yet but it should be a good setup when he finally does. He plans to have a self serve grain setup where you weigh and bag (and mill if required) all your grains and just pay a set amount per kg for the whole lot. So no need to place your order in advance or get turned away on busy Saturday mornings.

No affiliation etc etc.

Hold on just getting my bearings - you're talking off ordish road yeah?
Iron man is on the corner of ordish and greens. Admittedly I've not paid much attention lately but diagonally opposite on greens road is some factoryettes leading upto visy/BP - but I didn't think they were open yet?

No hes on Greens road in the factoryettes your talking about. They have a black steel iron picket fence at the front and Im amost certain they share an entrance with Visy. Most of them are still empty.
i just went there at lunch time to have a look and grab some hops and ended up helping Micah unload a truckload of stainless bling.

Ah cool I was just a bit confused. I drove that way home last night (I normally go frankston dandy rather than eastlink) just to go past and it would appear I was wrong they look open but mostly empty at this stage. I didn't realise how many factoryettes were in that complex!

I will be dropping in on him next week and checking it out. I hope it is as good as he imagined it. He has big visions for this place and thinks it is going to be revolutionary (LOL). Would love a store like morebeer in California.

Yeah, drive through to the back, just on the left. I think it's 16/191 Greens Road. He wasn't around when I wanted to come by last Wednesday so I will try again this week.

No mate you don't have to bring a thing. Just some beer if you want to, but there is always a couple of kegs floating about anyway.

No I think that's next month. This month were tasting the bottled versions of the single hop experiment beers to see how they have aged.
